Hunters hit Hollywood (ps Chase is an honorary Hunter having been recently adopted into the family)
We've done so much this week, thanks to our amazing tour guide Agustin, that it's all blurring together so I can't guarantee that the following is in chronological order but among other things we have been to ....
the Mexican market on Olvera Street, one of the oldest streets in L.A., we'll definitely be doing some shopping here when we come back through on our way home!
Also in Alvera Street we visited Avila Adobe, the oldest house in L.A.
... home to some pretty gnarly cacti
In the plaza we listened to some panpipe music ....
and then it was back in the car to head to the Staples Centre, the sports and entertainment arena where you can see the likes of the Harlem Globe Trotters, the Lakers etc.
Some of the sports fans take being a fan very seriously!
From the Staples Centre we headed off to Hollywood ....
on the way we came across some of the local wildlife ....
and then we took a walk down Hollywood Boulevard.
Our intro' to Hollywood Boulevard was Porl being scammed into paying for a CD of an 'upcoming' rap star and a DVD of an 'already quite famous comedian' (never heard of him). Chase was next to be scammed and ended up having to leg it out of there before they took all his money!
Porl decided that 'he'll be back' ...
Kieran found the star of the man whose tears cure cancer ....
too bad that Chuck Noris has never cried!
Then the guys gave their best Chuck Noris impressions ....
and then it was goodbye Hollywood!
That was too funny, that’s Hollywood, land of dreams. ... I doubt you'll be able to find a better story about a “rapper” in Nica!
