Goodbye Kerikeri, hello Auckland

So it was goodbye to Kerikeri yesterday and hello Auckland.  We we sold our car the day before we left, usual Hunter style, so packed all our belongings into Kieran's little Daihatsu, said farewell to Mum and off we went.

The awesome thing about our little Suzi 4WD, was that we sold it to a lovely brother and sister from the Kaitaia congregation, Ange and Waru Waitohi.  That means the old girl, who has apparently been renamed 'Gerty' lol, will still be getting around up north spreading the good news :)

After around a three and a half hour drive from Kerikeri we arrived in Auckland at the house of our good friends, Joel & Nicola Gibbons.  We unfolded ourselves from the little car and were welcomed by Rosie, as the rest of the fam' are away camping.  After a delicious spag' bol that Rosie had whipped up for us and a relaxing evening we headed off to bed, ready for an early start with Josh flying in at 7.45am the next morning.  7 more sleeps before we'll be getting on a plane ourselves!!!  Whoop  whoop!  :)
